Went here for a late coffee and cake by myself
I also got some of the best roast beef and scalloped potato that I have ever eaten in my life
The gravy or sauce had no MSG
The meat had no fat and melted in my mouth
The potato, I couldve eaten this for days – it was beautiful and again no MSG that I could taste
    I will be back

I’ve tried every place on the street and in my opinion this is the best lunch around. Coffee is good, service is great though they do get busy at times. Their roast beef is so tender you can eat it with a spoon and they have a great vegetarian range for those who are not into meat. Negative reviews are probably written by the competition whose businesses are suffering.

The coffee was good. The breakfast not so good. I ordered the Eggs Neptune, I got: 2 pieces of dry toast topped with 2 over cooked mould-poached eggs. I think the sauce was hollandaise but there was less than a teaspoon worth out of a jar between 2 eggs. It was accompanied but an almost solid chunk of ‘house smoked’ salmon – a 1/4 of the quantity out of a packet would have been a better option and half a lemon?! My friend had the good old fried eggs, bacon and sausages which I think is probably what they do best. If I go back I’ll have that next time instead of trying to have a healthier option. The staff are really friendly though!

The toilets were filthy and smelled and they served my coffee in a dirty mug. Dirty place ! The lady was happy to take my coffee back and apologised.

I have been at the place last week, big mistake.i’ll never go again and I’ll never recommend it to anybody. The peoples running this business have no idea what they are doing.

The owner Maha was rude and arrogant, and quick to get rid of us, she spoke about myself and my partner in Arabic (I can understand).
The bread I saw on the shelf behind had mould on it.
Also saw what looked to be mouse holes in the skirting boards.
Floors were sticky, and my glass of water had something floating in it. Glasses were also foggy and the food was nothing special
    Do not recommend visiting here.

Brought my family for Sunday lunch. Must have been a busy morning. Floor was sticky, glasses were dirty, water bottle had floaties and the toilet had no soap or paper towel. Food is basic. The hollandaise sauce was poor. Servings were generous and price was reasonable. We won’t be going back.
