Found this gem of a wine bar and thought I’d give it a go, and was not dissapointed. When I go to a wine bar, wine should be front and center – and thankfully, here, it is. Food was also great – but the wine is the star of the show.I tried 2 wines off the menu, one I chose myself, and the other I asked for a recommendation – both of which were spot on. Nice to see some higher end wines by the glass – a rare treat (and one I indulged in). Highly Recommended.
Dropped in here with a few friends last week after hearing a lot about it. It surely did not disappoint. Service was excellent with the added bonus of the owner on the floor at the time. He knew his stuff! I had the croquettes and lamb ragu. Both dishes were delicious; it was very evident they were fresh ingredients and cooked the same day. The wine selection is more than generous as we were guided through and with the added bonus of a fine whisky selection to top the outing off. I look forward to returning soon. Wish there was more places like this.
Great space very welcoming, The wine list is extensive and great to see lots of boutique labels being supported not just the big boys. By the glass or share wines where you don’t have to buy the whole bottle means you can try some high end wines for a fraction of the cost. The Oysters on the hand crafted timber platters was a nice touch.
This place gets my vote. If you want very reasonably priced tapas/mains combined with an extensive wine list by the glass or bottle, this is the place for you.
Exceptional wine, food, atmosphere & service. I highly recommend anyone in the vicinity check this place out, you will not be disappointed!!
