Only went here because St Georges Fish n Chips was closed. Badly overcooked potato cakes, chips just ok, flake didn’t maintain any crunch and the fried dim sims chewy. Over priced for what you get.
Loved it! I got the calamari pack with fresh battered calamari and three flathead. The calamari was absolutely incredible and the batter was so morish. We ate all the little extra bits too. Chips very good and fish also strong – tasted good and again the batter was great. I’ve been searching for a local chippie and I’ve finally found one!
The Fishionable Chippery is my local fish and chip outlet. There are others nearby but this one gets my business. The chips are consistently good and the batter not too heavy. I probably go here more than I should!
Absolutely pathetic. Flakes are the size of sardines & there was approximately 10 chips as minimum. Never go again for overpriced fish and chips!!!
