Have been to this cute and atmospheric pasta bar 3 times. We thought it was great value for money and good food. Since it opened, the prices have recently inflated from $9 to $14, the standard of pasta has dropped, and the waiter has managed to forget or write it down wrong or drop the order in the kitchen so our meals have been forgotten 2 out of 3 visits. Staff are friendly and polite, but overwhelmed when busy. Prices keep changing so each time we go back theyve increased. Theyre just starting out so all is forgivable, however looking forward to more predictable and consistent service, food, and prices in the near future.
We popped up in this place looking for a late lunch or early dinner; it was quite empty as they had just opened. We ordered a selection of cheeses, grapes, and wine. Having this type of meal in the humble outdoor seats with sunshine made us feel we were in France. The guy in charge was super kind and the ambience music was great. The most I liked the place was that on the tables there were blank papers and one pencil instead placemats so everyone can sketch and boost their creativity whilst waiting for their meal. I bet those sketches provoke a smile on staff members every night!
