Im sure the coffee here is great but we were there for food. Nothing here for vegans apart from the usual bagel or crumpets with peanut butter or jam. The spinach gozleme was almost inedible rock hard from being reheated and tasteless. I need to start complaining about these things but am too polite and will just never go back there.

Came across this place by chance and looked good spot to get a proper coffee -ordered a soy latte and happened to notice the barista sprinkle some white powder in my coffee and when questioned him about it he told me it was Baking Soda(apparently to help stop soy milk curdling)-never seen that before and can’t say I was very impressed as didn’t order Baking Soda with my coffee! Coffee tasted okay but nothing special.

The staff are attentive with a very positive and uplifting vibe. Added to that they have obviously put a lot of effort into sourcing healthy produce. I had the pumpkin pales granola – just delicious! Washed it down with a frothy chai tea (first time to have had the milk warmed through and frothed but I liked it!). We bought some coffee to take home and love knowing that it’s an Aussie product. We will be back to this luscious local 🙂

Cute corner cafe with great coffee they are clearly passionate about.
Baked goods looked very fresh and tasty.
They have a good menu that includes breakfast and lunch with a busy dining area just off from the main counter.
Worth the stop if you are in the area.

Mention in a recent coffee book on Melbourne, Growers never fails to impress on the quality of its terrific coffee. The owner has been in coffee for generations according to the review in the book. Located bear a busy tram spot in Nth Fitzroy this inviting place has developed a loyal clientele. Recent staff appointments have engendered an improvement in service.

Glorious muffins. If the muffin lord is baking her signature lemon and coconut muffins stop what you’re doing, clear you schedule and get to Growers. Affectionately dubed the ‘Adonis Muffin’ – they’re so delicious you’ll be crying tears of relief. FINALLY A MUFFIN TO SILENCE ALL MUFFINS!!

Give it a grow. Like the new dining space, open feel with plenty of room between tables and simple decor. I like this place because it feels connected and embedded. People knew each other by name (and order), staff were warm and efficient and there is a nice vibe. Been there three times now and it’s my new local , thanks guys and gals, keep the good times coming.
