Someone recommended their fish and chips, said they are legendary and always get them when in the hood. I was thinking of getting a burger down the street but saw they had $5 burgers here so got two for the price of the cost of one down the street – satisfied the craving, was great, soft and grilled bun too. with some crunchy lettuce. HD CON is going to be my new dealer. Full and happy again.

Just good old fashioned food and customer service. These guys produce fish and chips as it should be with prices that wouldn’t be out of place in 2003. Highly recommended.
HD Cons is 100% the best fish and chip shop on the north side. Their service is amazing. Each bit of their burger makes my stomach glow. You can literally feel the love in every bite. The owners take pride in their business. I highly recommend it. If you haven’t been you are seriously missing out.

No fancy frippery at this local fish and chippery!. Traditional, suburban fish and chip shop on the border of Carlton North and Brunswick East. Fantastic potato cakes, flake, chips and dimmies. They’ve got tasty burgers – Mexican with the lot has to be sampled!
Just your everyday normal, cheap fish and chips! Yum!!!
