I live around the corner and have always missed dropping in. Glad I did yesterday.
Excellent coffee. Brief, but delicious menu of toasties and bakery goods that are reasonably priced. Small space so not good for big groups but can definitely enjoy some lunch or takeaway.
Ordered a ham cheese tomato croissant, was told they ran out of croissant and they can make it as a toastie. My partner handed over $10 and was told oh it’s actually $11. As we were walking to get a table noticed that the ham cheese tomato croissant is listed on the menu as $9.. When we posed the question, we were then told that’s because they use more ingredients to make it a toastie. If you want to charge me more money for a menu where you have to substitute something you ran out of, the least you can do is tell me.. Or just say to order something else. There isn’t even a ham cheese tomato toastie on the menu. Yeah it’s just $2 but it feels a bit dishonest. Not coming back again.
