Casual setting, minimalist decor. I have been seeing pumpkin gnocchi on the menu at a few restaurants so when I saw it here, I thought that was the day to give it a go! The waitress, who was friendly and helpful did warn me that the sweetness of the beetroot wasn’t for everyone but I was feeling adventurous. The ingredients tasted fresh and the pumpkin gnocchi itself was good but she was right. I felt that the beetroot sauce caused an imbalance in the dish. The feta tried to counter balance it but the beetroot was too strong. The resulting flavours just did not do it for me. Not sure what the chef was thinking but I guess it’s nice to try different things sometimes. On another note, I had the most amazing golden latte from here. Definitely the best I have had. Would be keen to come back and try the other dishes.

I was a bit worried we wont be getting our food for a long time. We were all pleasantly surprised how well everything worked out. Every dish we had was delicious and everyone was happy with their meals. The eye fillet was moist and tender, perfectly cooked. The chicken Parma was huge, chips were really fresh and crunchy. Pizza was excellent. Had a bottle of Shiraz. For $28 it was pretty good. Will be going back again to try other things on the menu.
