Gorgeous cafe. The food is outstanding. Smashed avo with added haloumi was exactly what I wanted. The hot cake was out of this world, that nuttella ice cream with it… Just wow!! And the mushrooms and potato rosti were something like I’ve never tried before. The best bit? How lovely the owner/manager is! She’s so friendly and kind! Happy to help you with anything!

    Have been to Addict twice.
The menu options are more on the adventurous side. You can expect to see dishes and combinations that you won’t see at other places.
It may however, make your decision a little difficult as you aren’t quite sure what it would be like and whether or not you will actually lile it!
I do feel that they pulled these flavours off quite well.
My only down point is each time I went there, I had trouble picking what I wanted. Not because there was too many options but because I need more variety.
One my last visit I had the Breakfast Board. Good option for indecisive people like me. The dish was generous and tasted pretty good. Not amazing but not bad at the same time.
We also ordered the Big Breakfast which too be honest was smaller than we expected and smaller than the Breakfast Board. But the flavours were alright so we aint mad.

Im sure everyone opens with Addicted to Addict. Which they should because this place is as validation is to humankind.
    I am not an alien.

Anyway love Addict, great food, always take the extra istra bacon and hash (browns).

A small cafe in Fitzroy, came here one Sunday for brunch. The place was packed. Got us a seat at the bar, but got relocated to a table within 5min.
Food was ok. I had the Duck Benedict and my friend had the Smash Avocado. The mushroom and duck combination taste a bit funny. Maybe missing texture and freshness in the dish.
    Service was friendly and accommodating.

Have been to Addict a few times and always loved this place. When I don’t know what to order, I always have the Sweet and Savoury breakfast board. It has a bit of everything on it and I added a side of sausage. The team is very accomodating on almost all request you have. Coffee is always on point and service is with a smile. Will be back!

Stopped in on a weekday with a few friends. We all got different options. Smashed avo was a generous size and a standard taste. Kimchi burger was tasty, but slightly soggy. Chips were delicious! Overall, food was good, service was attentive and coffee was great. I would recommend a drop in if youre in the area and wanting a varied menu… but with so many competitive options close by, it wouldnt be top go-to.

I was so happy to see a Duck Benedict on the menu. A great alternative to pork. It lived up to expectations. As did the coffee roasted by AU79.
