I had a lovely meal here. Food was really good especially the duck rendang, pork sticky ribs and duck bao! Service and ambience was also fantastic- will definitely be returning soon to try the rest of the menu!
Blue chillies is an amazing Malaysian restaurant. I love the decor of the restaurant, where they put drinks and traditional items on the shelfs and benches, really brings a warm feel. I had the fish head vermicelli and pickled cabbage. Was perfect for the weather. The broth wasnt too overpowering and thats what I loved about it most. Beef Randang was delicious too. Beef was perfectly cooked and the curry had all the elements you would expect. Sweet, sour, savoury and the kick.
Great service, located in a quieter area of Fitzroy, which I found good because of the convenience to finding parking.
They have espresso here too. Which I always love a good coffee after a nice meal. WIR? Willing to try everything else in the menu.
