A regular lunch joint for me. I always get whatever fresh dish they have in their bain marie with steamed rice as you can always top it up with fresh chilli and veggies at no extra cost. Their banh mis are also good – would recommend the roast pork and grilled chicken! Vermicelli noodles with beef and lemongrass is always a good choice and apparently their salad bowls are amazing as well (never tried but will do so the next time I pop in).
After trying all the Banh Mi joints on Smith st., I keep coming back to this one. The ingredients are fresh, owners are friendly and their prices can’t be beat. There’s a lot of hype about Trang next door and N. Lee Bakery a bit further up, but don’t skip this one!
