So stoked to be able to try this new cafe in Fitzroy (in courtesy of MELB FOOD BABY!)! The venue is small and cosy, and the interior is nice and bright. The waiters are extremely friendly and service is very good too!
I had the Japanese Pancakes, which seems to be one of their most popular dishes – and yes, I can definitely confirm why that is! The pancake was cooked perfectly, with heaps of red cabbage inside. It also came with a generous portion of amazing beetroot cured salmon, and sweet and refreshing wakame seaweed! Topped in okonomiyaki sauce and Japanese mayo – such a flavourful Japanese-fusion dish!
My friend had the FrenchLanka Toast, which was definitely not just an ordinary French toast! With flavours of cardamom and cloves, and a delightful coconut custard AND coconut treacle – this is truly a unique dish worth trying! Very sweet and also very filling!
We also got the Benny Guancile and the Health Board, which were all very delicious and came in very generous portions!
Overall, great food, friendly staff and fantastic company! Would highly recommend checking this new cafe out!
Went to Hustle as it just newly opened and curious to try! Looks lovely inside, nice and bright. Waiters were friendly and very respectful of us chatty ladies. We kept on chatting and they didnt interrupt us. I wouldnt have mind though if every now and then they wouldve checked in with us to see if we were ready to order.
I had think he breakfast board and it was nice. The jar with muesli wasnt ideal as the opening was quite narrow. It came with yoghurt on it and milk on the side. I usually wouldnt add milk, but this time I did as there wasnt enough yoghurt.
Would give 3.5 but have to choose 3 or 4 so chose 4 as newly opened places need the support!
It seems theres a newly opened cafe so we popped in! The interior is beautiful we got warm greeted when we walked in. Chai was nice but a bit too hot to hold, cup was really beautiful tho. Ordered two dishes to share and they were average. I hate to say I didnt quite enjoy them. The food was lukewarm the bacon on the benedict was so rubbery that is not quite nice to consume. French toast is the dish I order everywhere, so we had that as well. It was alright not too exciting. Service was really lovely!
