I loved the cocktails and mocktails, which were served in ice-glasses, to make the experience even more epic. With all the games, there was never a dull moment.
The staff were lovely too!
Staff here are very friendly and the cocktails are really nice. I had the Jon Snowberry and it was delicious. It’s a cool concept and I’ve been to the one in London but this one is very small in comparison and therefore expensive for what it is if you’re paying the full entry fee. It’s also too cold (minus 10 degrees I think?!) to spend a long time there. They provide you with a snow gear. They have some ice sculptures inside, some of which were Games of Thrones themed when I went (such as the Iron throne and a dragon). You are not allowed to take pictures but they have set cameras on the ceiling that can take pictures and you can buy them for $12 each (digital copy) or $15 (hardcopy). It’s pretty cool if you’re looking for something different to do.
Staff were friendly, however definitely not worth entry fee. Bar is quite small, and prohibit the use of camera and phones for photos (cameras inside sells photos separately).
Sculptures were quite average. Cocktails also not great.
Average stay time around 30 min.
Definitely yes for 1 time experience! Place is too small with no exciting activity so do not build up a huge expectation. Cocktails & shots are decent enough. With kids obviously its a fun. Staffs are friendly and helpful. The place is for sure bit pricey but I agree the operating cost of such place will be high… so I recommend visitors to look for discounted tickets available on various websites and pre book with those tickets. I liked the placed but expect them to increase the area more with adding some more fun activity !!
I had an overseas visitor and though Ice bar would be a fun novelty idea for a few drinks. We got the premium entry at $59 pp which includes a souvenir photo. You get to chose from a few tasty options in relation to your included shot as well as your cocktail and the drinks were made well. Such a cool (literally) and unique experience, the bar is legitimately made from ice and they have some amazing sculptures in there. I got pretty chilly pretty quickly so I’d suggest rugging up underneath the snow gear provided. Bartender was UBER friendly too. Definitely a must do experience
What a joke of a place.. an Ice bar? It is probably better suited for mass tourism.. if you like places like this then Fitzroy is probably not your thing. Also I hope you realize that cooling a place like this wastes a tremendous amount of energy.. hope your Instagram pics are worth the pollution you’re causing.
We came here last night and had a FAB time! It’s absolutely freezing but was heaps of fun for the half hour we were there.
Drinks are ok – would prefer knowing what’s in my drink though instead of pre poured ones – but they had the drink the chilli shot challenge and succeeded (chillies are my best friend) so we got a free photo!
