Refined Indian cuisine with modern and sleek decor and attentive service. Between two we shared the arrancini, the lamb cutlets, the butter chicken, the wilted kale and spinach, the turmeric cauliflower and the garlic naan. I enjoyed everything but the lamb cutlets and the butter chicken were major standouts.
Brand new Modern Indian Restaurant ISH opens in Fitzroy on Gertrude street. Amazing food, top notch service and and killer fitout. Definitely worth checking.
Absolutely delightful restaurant. Food was just amazing. A really well curated menu of Indian fusion dishes and everything that we tried just kept getting better and better. Great service and a great collection of wines and spirits as well.
The only con for me if I had to pick one was that the seats are slightly cramped.
You must try the Chocolate mess! It was the highlight of our night and really rounded off the meal very nicely.
Will definitely be coming here again to try all the other items on the menu.
An upmarket Indian and a very new and welcome addition in this space. Designed around share plates, the food generally is good. A limited menu. Some dishes super hot and others mild. It would be a good idea if they explained this and were able to let you choose the chilli level.
