I had dinner here with a friend and I enjoyed it. The place is small but has a great atmosphere. The menu wasnt bursting with variety but it had a good selection of tacos which were decently priced. Overall, I was pleased with the food and service but theres nothing outstanding about the place. It is worth trying if you want a decently priced taco place
I love it.
Reminds me of all the great little bars Melbs had in the early 2000’s, small, slightly dingy but with style and a record player.
Staff are great and friendly.
Food is top shelf along with the tequila and beer selection, menu isn’t massive but it really doesn’t need to be. ($5 tacos etc.)
I go here religiously on a Sunday and will always come back.
The fish taco was amazing, best Ive ever had. Guac and chips which can sometimes be average was amazing and I wish I couldve eaten more. Will be coming back!
Cool hole in the wall place with friendly staff. Lunchtime and the staff seem very happy to have a customer as its pretty quite. The fish taco and the 2 Gordita were delicious. Maybe Im just in denial about what commercial kitchens look like but Open kitchen means the place really should be spotless. Planning to come back for drinks one night.
Sunday night, wet weather, looking for a light and easy meal with wine to wash with.
Love the place, not fancy but cosy and welcoming for us. So mysterious remind me of ‘Coco’ cartoon movie.
Food served pretty fast. Love the fish tacos very much( we end up ordered this more) the pork taste a hint of rendang (Malaysian cuisine) for me, maybe my tastebud being funny after one sip of wine LOL.
We definitely coming back.
These guys are little but they pack a punch of flavour and life, the vibes just wanted me to break out in a rumba.
I passed by on a Friday night after the ice bar and was hoping for something to warm me up a little. And boy these guys delivered. I had a Gordita and Abuelas Beef Gordita and after trying at least 5 taco places in Fitzroy I can say that these guys do it best.
It would be impossible to pass by their window and see them making tacos the right way without giving it a taste.
Just a heads up, seating is super limited.
