A very casual, basic caf with cheap food. It does remind me a bit of a small, functional caf in Vietnam! The vegetarian spring rolls were good and the broth for the beef brisket pho was delicious. However, the beef itself was overcooked and hard with a big, wide lining of fat. Was empty on a Friday night. Super friendly staff.
[3.5] I quite enjoyed the pork banh mi here. Good flavour, and plentiful/fresh ingredients. I loved the iced coffee, which wasn’t jammed full of ice (and therefore little coffee), as others tend to do. It’s a nice little shop, and could be rated a little higher if it wasn’t for the slightly expensive banh mi ($8 for the pork pictured here).
