Came here for breakfast. They had me at Lune croissants. It was a strangely quiet morning; after Collingwood made the grand final. Perhaps the locals were mourning or hungover. We had a booking but that wasnt really needed.
Anyway, onto the serious stuff. Coffee was perfect as was the service. We ordered baked eggs and fried eggs. I was rather impressed that the fried eggs were only a little bit runny, just enough to mop your bread but not so much to go everywhere despite it not having been turned over. Could I eat everything else on the menu? Yes! But of course, that leaves the debate – should the croissant be eaten before or after the eggs?
They accept gourmet traveler gift cards too, perfect if you get them on sale.
