(Coffee review). 4.0
Comfortingly shabby inside here. No sign of modern style whatsoever. Old floor, old paint job, old counter. Its not putting anyone off though as the effect is thrilling. There were young and old alike here today. I can see why. The coffee was superb. Strong as, great length, silky smooth. A very very good brew indeed. It lives up to the artisan coffee tag theyve given themselves (not artesian as I heard someone mispronounce the word once). Service was mighty fine as well. Cooly amiable in that detached Melbourne way. I received two unsolicited smiles before I wandered on my way. Nice. Ill be back.

Well it did not disappoint
The pasta with the rich ragu sauce was yum
I tried the salmon salad – simple dish – was nice – just a bit on the small side for a $30 plus cost.
Arancini balls yum, polenta chips nice…..
