The Napier hotel is a bit of an iconic pub in the Fitzroy area. A perfect spot for a drink, with a couple of different indoor areas and a beer garden as well. They have a great pub menu too. I have only ever ordered the chicken Parma, a good sized chicken Parma served with show string fries and a salad. My friend swears by the kangaroo steak (also served with fries and salad), thats his absolute favourite. A great place with a lot of charm.

On my latest visit I ordered the scotch fillet with bernaise sauce, medium rare. To my disappointment it was quite rare and a bit chewy. However my other experiences prior were perfect so Im not going to let this one ruin that for me. The salad and chips that come on the side are always amazing. We didnt leave a single piece left on the plate. Got the chicken bacon corn mushroom leek pot pie from the specials board which was okay. I probably wouldnt order it again. If the risotto comes back its a must order!
