This place is half florist and half cafe. However both business were combined and interacted with each other. This is a stop for a quick bite or a cup of coffee. Most of food was from their deli section so you will see what you’ve ordered. Their food tasted above my expectation and potion was sufficient to make you full. I quiet fancy their tuna rolls! They also provided good and strong flavoured coffee.
Scent of a Flower is a lovely place to visit, not only for a delicious meal, but also for a homely atmosphere and lovely staff, who go out of there way to please their customers. From their smiley faces drawn on the takeaway tea and coffee cups to their warm welcome. I look forward to my morning teas before uni. I recommend having a scent bagel, a warm toasted bagel with honey mustard sauce, roast chicken, avocado and cheese.
They also make a very nice eggs Benedict for breakfast, however I dont get to sit down very often, most of the time, I just get my tea and croissant and head off.
What also makes Scent of a Flower special is it also a florist, filled with beautiful, colourful flowers, for every occasion, from spoiling yourself to a beautiful gift for a friend. A must have cafe to visit when it Fitzroy.
Great location. Very cosy cafe with awesome blooms next door. The hot chocolate was great and service impeccable. Lovely experience. Will definately visit again.
Happy Coffee. I’ve spent 4 years at the university next door and the saddest part of my upcoming graduation is that I wont be able to visit my favourite coffee place every day! This place has not only amazing coffee (surely it’s shipped from somewhere special on a plane!) But they are also amazing people! I would recommend anyone to visit this place, you wont be disappointed!

My favourite ‘near work cafe’. And there’s a lot of choice! Great food and great coffee but it’s the people that make it the best in the area. Super friendly and always remember your name, your order and whatever’s going on in your life!

Their Scent’s Florentine is delicious, very fresh ingredients. Best poached eggs and hollandaise I’ve ever had. Love it.
