Have been here a couple of times now and enjoyed my brunch both times! The coffee is also very good quality. I really like the atmosphere of this restaurant – spacious, modern and a great laid back place to eat on the weekend.

We came into Sir Charles the other day and loved the beautiful industrial interior. The menu was a really intriguing one and I had so many dishes I wanted to try but sadly could not order them all.

We opted for the salmon benedict on roti bread, the buffalo mozzarella and the beef cheese burger. The salmon benedict was outstanding, love the crispy flakey roti bread and the flavourful hollandaise sauce . If you visit Sir Charles I recommend getting one of the benedicts as it is a signature for a reason.

The buffalo mozzarella was a really nice refreshing dish, would love this in a salad form next to a steak ! The only thing I would have liked on this dish is to add a salty element on the dish as the flavours are very delicate. Nevertheless it was still a beautiful dish

The cheeseburger was really delicious, we loved the chips so much extremely crunchy and not greasy. The burger patty was really juicy and tender, although it did not come out medium rare which we advised ,we still thoroughly enjoyed it !

Thanks for having us in !

It was nice sunny spring day when we visited Sir Charles and it got even better after what we ate!

French toast – brioche french toast coated in dark chocolate and coconut with ruby chocolate sauce topped with roasted peach, strawberries and meringue! When it first came out, I had thought it was a lamington but looks can be pretty deceiving! The french toast was pretty crunchy and moist in the insides and went really well with the ruby chocolate sauce which was like a spread! The roasted peach, strawberries and meringue added to the sweetness of this lovely dish!

Panna cotta – banana panna cotta shaped like a rectangle coming with fig ice cream, fresh fruits and granola! I gotta say the flavors were pretty amazing especially when mixed together! The softness and sweetness of the panna cotta and fig ice cream was a good fit with the granola and fruits! A burst of flavors in the mouth when chewing it!

Sir Charles benedict – panko-crumbed eggs with sriracha hollandaise, bacon and fresh chili on roti! Now this aint your average benny especially with the yummy crumbed eggs which were cooked to perfection and that creamy hollandaise sauce and juicy bacon! Let me go on, the roti was a clever idea as it was soft and crispy and was beautifully presented together with the other elements! Minimal ingredients but complex flavors won me over and made this my fave dish for the day! Theres a reason why they named the benny after them!

Overall, Sir Charles has impressed us and we would be delighted to try the rest of their dishes!
