A random search of bars in Footscray brought up Andy’s Remedy. I had not heard of it so discovered by messaging them on Facebook that they have replaced the old Happy River Cafe.
Chatting to Andy he advised that they had just started opening of an evening from 5pm, so we decided to give it a go. Well worth it!
Classy decor in an already excellent setting. Andy was friendly and knowledgeable with the wine menu.
As smokers we knew we would be sitting in the lovely grassed area and spotted a cute fluffy bench seat and some cushions under a shady tree and Andy was accommodating in bringing us over a table.
We kicked back enjoying our glass of Shiraz in gorgeous crystal glasses and enjoyed the sunny afternoon.
We had somewhere else to go so we were unable to stay longer, but we will definitely be back for the great ambience, music and to try the food.
Also looking forward to an excellent Sunday sesh
