Got a 12 pack for $10 – good value. Doughnuts were all fluffy and well covered in sugar. But where was the jam?? Each doughnut contained a small blob of jam, they may as well not bothered to put any in there and save themselves some time. Still, 6 hours later the leftover non-jam doughnuts still were soft and tasted good.
Conveniently locates next to Footscray station. The lady that served me was lovely! Nothing amazingly special about the coffee but its a good cuppa for a decent price. If Im in need of a quick caffeine fix I wouldnt hesitate to get a coffee from here. This is very picky of me but I will say the cappuccino I ordered did not have chocolate powder on top which I was a little disappointment about.
Given this place is in the spot Olympic Doughnuts once was, it carries on the tradition of good cheap jam doughnuts at Footscray station well. The coffee, chai lattes and matcha chai here are all very good, hence the line up early every week day morning as everyone heads to work.
The doughnuts themselves are similar to the Olympic Doughnut ones. They are always rolled in sugar and filled with warm jam when you order. This means they’re super crisp on the outside and lovely and soft when you bite into them and the jam is plentiful but not too much, perfect. They are slightly addictive but luckily only $1 each.
$3 coffee and $1 fresh jam doughnuts? Yes please! So glad I came across this hidden gem! The doughnuts are made fresh for you so its still warm and super fluffy. I actually prefer the doughnuts without the jam, as the dough itself is just so good. Coffee can be inconsistent though – the first time I came the coffee was amazing, but the second time it was not so good.
Had a cappuccino here a few days ago, it wasnt too bad. It wasnt as rich as I expected, but for $4 it wasnt too much of a let down. Donuts are great however they need to be more generous on the jam.
