My score 4.0 stars. J and I had lunch here on Fri 17th Jan. Service was good and helpful (water is DIY), groovy background music. Interior pretty basic and the acoustics aren’t great – fair bit of noise via customers and kitchen. Don’t go on a romantic date here, but do go for the food! We shared 2 lunch dishes – they both had a plentiful array of nicely cooked vegetables (particularly good green beans). Both sauces were quite fresh and fragrant, with a good balance of heat, saltiness, sourness and only a little sweetness.Stir-fried squid, chilli and basil w steamed rice ($12.90) – Squid a bit chewy but a good amount of fresh basil and chilli (unlike a lot of places). We would have again for sure (with a different protein)!Panang prawn curry w steamed rice ($14.90) – Plenty of largish moist prawns and lots of tasty curry sauce. Very moreish and we’d definitely have it again.
