Quite a cute little gem in Footscray, service was good, just a little disappointed that the cocktail I was excited about trying was not available due to not having cider, But there is a bottle shop downstairs ? Could definitely substitute for a bottled cider instead of tap. Also no pork crackle available. I would go back just for a beer and maybe some charcuterie instead.
You’ll not find another place like this in the west that serves local and well-crafter beer Bottle shop downstairs has a plethora of beers styles to choose from but the main show-stealer is the bar upstairs. Excellently designed, wonderfully lighted, with well-thought out seating variations make this place a no-brainer when comes to casual catch-ups or group celebrations. 24 taps serving local variations until they runout (smaller kegs used) and get replaced by other brews. So much choice!!! Their tasting-paddles are the best way to taste these delicious creations. Prices are extremely affordable and another feather in the cap is that we can order UberEats or take in Melbourne’s best Turkish Kebab from the opposite shop (Footscray Best Kebab). Footscray is changing…YAAY!!!
If I could give less than 1 star I would. We were actually having a good time and were eager to support a local business – up until the moment we were asked to leave for being too noisy. Apparently having a good time is frowned upon. I just wish wed known this before spending hundreds of dollars. Happily our too noisy group moved on to Littlefoot – which we highly recommend.
