Cosy setting. Friendly staff. Tasty Coffee. Cocktails available. Great to share and chat with a few friends. I want to rate 3.5; reason to select 3 instead 4 because no dinner menu and ordering lots of sharing plates will get pricy.

Came on a Sunday afternoon around 12:30 and wasnt busy until it picked up around 1:30ish. Staff were friendly but food took a little while to arrive. Ordered Arepa con queso (cheese-filled corn cake) and the Haloumi, baharat, honey and walnuts dish for sides, and for mains I ordered the Salmon & Danish Rye and my boyfriend ordered the special: Turkish bread with slow cooked pork, aioli, fried eggs and roast potatoes. Our coffee orders arrived quite quickly but they forgot about my juice until after I reminded them when the food came. One latte had about 2cm of froth and both didnt have a nice smooth surface, you can see the large bubbles in the pic. Given the quiet time we arrived, we waited over 30 mins for the food. Unfortunately the food overall lacked flavour. The salmon dish was very stingy for the main element and while pretty on the plate, had no wow factor. Nothing seemed to stand out in flavour. The Special was about the same, but had a tasty aioli but was only spread on one piece of bread. The potato needed seasoning. The haloumi dish was ok but had honey so that over took what would usually have a nice saltiness. The corn cake was confusing. Didnt taste like corn cake and the cheese was almost baked into it so no apparent cheese flavour or texture. It actually was quite doughy for me and only had one bite. I feel bad for the rating because Id actually do 2.5 if possible but Im a local and this was just 1 visit. I put it down to friendly staff, great atmosphere/fit out but with new establishment kinks.

Cute little cafe within a typical robust Footscray street. Service was nice, menu had a good range of vego options, coffee was very good and my lentil meal was great! Will return!

A cute little cafe quietly tucked away in the Footscray neighbourhood. Despite the tiny venue, it was full on a Saturday morning.

The brunch menu is quite unique, offering a selection of small dishes which you can choose yourself to build your own breakfast. We opted for their larger dishes – the gnocchi & shrooms, the salmon & danish rye, and the benny xo. The salmon dish was rather plain and lacking flavour. The benedict was alright, but it was slightly too oily for our liking. Of the three dishes we ordered, the gnocchi was definitely the best one.

Although the staff are extremely friendly, the service was rather slow, and the food took quite a while to come. My coffee was cold too.

Overall, it was a decent meal, but nothing too special to return for. It is still one of the only few brunch options available in the area.

Small graces was a small cafe. Super cosy (slightly cramped). I was drawn to the Asian fusion brunch menu and was attracted to the Benny xo (eggs Benedict with xo sauce) overall the flavours worked well and the hollandaise sauce was fresh but slightly bland. Eggs were cooked well and the pork tasted like char siew. The toast was chewy and hard to cut into even with my knife. Overall I would give it a 3/5 for the uniqueness. My friend ordered the gnocchi which was very nice-it was cooked well and had lots of flavour. I would come again and probably order the gnocchi haha. Good service as well

Small Graces is in the wrong spot.
Coffee in Footscray should not be this good.
Great service in a really confined premises with professional courtesy and attention.
The meals are pretty damn good too.
