The place is meant to be about the beers they brew, which are all easy drinking good flavoured craft beers but the surprise was the food. It was simply great. Has classics like the Parma which just got reviewed as the 4th best Parma in Melbourne. And then has nice tapas additions if your not ready for a full meal.
Its a little surprise packet this place and the staff are friendly and helpful.
Its officially considered my new local!

Will come back for:
+ Beer battered Sardines
+ Porchetta
+ Baked Camembert
+ Cider
Great to have gastro pub in this part of Footscray as another option. You can see where the food is headed and they have some good bar food options to go with the paddles and beers. I particularly liked the beer battered sardines (fried crunchy so you can chow down the whole lot), the baked Camembert (which was great with the generous slices of crunchy flatbreads), and the porchetta was well cooked and seasoned. The cider went down particularly well with the porchetta. Service was friendly and you can see the locals are quickly warming to the place as it already had quite a buzz. Will be back to try out some of the other options (especially the Parma which looked great).
