This is my go to coffee shop in the morning before school. Much better than on campus at VU because they actually have lactose free milk and dont charge any extra for it. Staff are polite (one in particular always has a smile and asks how everyone is which I find fantastic) and incredibly efficient. I tried their poached eggs and bacons this morning since I was a little earlier to class and had skipped breakfast due to an appointment in the city and I wasnt disappointed. Good value, very reasonable price, tasty and filling.

Don’t get me wrong the man and the main lady who works there is amazing however the rest of them are as useless as that ATM machine that breaks down constantly! You can tell that they don’t want to be there and it shows when you need to get their attention away from their phone! I could deal with the bad service if the food was up to scratch! It isn’t! It’s cheaper to go to a restaurant with better service!

The food is a little bland and rather pricey. There is so much potential because the clientele is there but from word of mouth, it seems that people only eat here out of necessity and close proximity and not actually for the food.
The curry’s are not spicy as they should be. The fish is soggy and bland. The veggies are decent. Breakfast toasties are pretty straight forward, hard to get that wrong.
Coffee however is not great. Had coffee here a couple of times and each time I had an issue with it. 1st time, came out lukewarm, yuk! Second time I asked for the coffee hot and explained what happened the 1st time, not only did I get a dirty look from the guy, but my coffee tasted burnt (as though the milk was burnt). When I mentioned this to him, there was no offer to make another one & still had to pay for a coffee that I couldnt drink.
Its decent pricing… Croissants are expensive though. Overall average/bland food, inconsistent service and very average coffee.
The service from the ladies is pleasant.
Great breakfast and lunch so much to choose from had a great Thai curry and rice for $10 fantastic value will certainly go back for coffee and cake
