We ordered vegetarian fried rice and salt & pepper tofu. The fried rice serving was generous with lots of ingredients. The silken tofu was delicious but I couldnt taste the salt & pepper. Both dishes tasted good but it was a bit bland & needed salt.

It was purely by chance that I ended up here as I wanted to go the restaurant next door but they were closed for the Christmas period. I am certainly glad that I ended up here!

The restaurant was buzzing, the restaurant packed with happy dinners and I can see why. Staff are very friendly and polite, the restaurant clean and the menu and pricing great!

My vermicelli with vine leaf wrapped beef was so different, I have never seen this or had this at any Vietnamese restaurant. I loved it, the beef so tender and tasty it was a delight with the dish all round. Additional chillies to give it that extra kick, omg so good.

My Vietnamese iced coffee was yum, I highly recommend Viet Kitchen.

Lizzies first impression: Its next to Sapa hill and sister which are just as popular so it just depends which stores have seats. Staff are very accommodating.

Lizzie enjoyed: the stand out dish would be the vermicelli spring roll salad – it was fresh and had everything I needed in a Viet salad bowl. Think lemongrass beef and crispy spring rolls. The banh canh cua was also tasty – with a deep fried soft shell crab on the side! The bun bo hue was also another winner here.

Lizzie did not enjoy: The hu thieu mi with wontons was a let down as they only had egg noodles and didnt have my favourite glass noodle egg noodle combo.

Lizzie rates overall: very yummy dishes at a very affordable price – really doesnt get better than this!

  • Eat. Sleep. Create. Repeat.

Site between 2 popular resturant. Fresh ingredient, friendly staff. Environment calmer then the busy resturant next door. Great for a more relaxed dinner.
