Nice environment, I like sitting next to the window. The food is delicious, no doubt! Coffee is good especially with one of their cakes! Staff, they are very nice! I like the smile of them, which is good.

    Not an enjoyable experience.

The serving staff were nice and helped keep the tables clean. However, that was really the only enjoyable part of the experience:- seats were uncomfortable and the atmosphere wasn’t great

    – eggs on toast were very overpriced
    – hash brown tasted like the oil was old
    – chorizo sausage tasted off
    – both the scrambled and pan-fried eggs had bits of raw egg white in them.

What’s worse is that the owners just didn’t seem to care or understand when I tried to explain the issue to them:
    – they claimed it wasn’t an ordinary sausage, it was chorizo, and that I didn’t know what chorizo tasted like,
    – the hash browns were cooked fresh to order (which makes no difference if you’re using bad oil),
    – they said the eggs were meant to have runny yolks (but I was trying to explain to them that the whites were raw).

I was a little too enthusiastic in arriving at Forest Hill Chase this morning… none of the shops I wanted to go to had opened when I had arrived… as such I had about 15 minutes spare, so I decided to grab a coffee from the only place churning them out. If Im honest I probably would not have bothered because a) they dont do lactose free milk so had to have my second option of a long black and b) said long black was average at best

    Coffee of last resort.

Something of a low budget cafe within Forest Hills Chase. I have had a vegetarian breakfast here which was okay, perhaps a little skimpy for the price. The hash browns were so small I am sure the potato was offended by the affront. The coffee was fair. Basic tables and chairs are lined out along an aisle way, so dining is very public. The service was relatively prompt, but cheerless.

Fast and friendly service. Love the food and coffee is great. Might be a little pricey but is definitely worth it. Quiet location and good lighting.

    Mochaccino: quite OK, average.
Tall (strong) latte: better than some places.
    Service: very minimal.
    Price: expensive.
Atmosphere: the setting within the shopping centre has some nice skylight ambience.

Overpriced mediocre food with very poor service. Give this one a miss.
