Authentic Japanese restaurant offering a variety of Japanese culinary in a Japanese way – friendly, affordable and efficient. We made a last minute booking and was given a table for one hour. Upon arrival, we were escorted to our table. Orders are placed through an ipad provided in each table. We were very pleased with our dinner experience, sampling the gyoza, katsu kuji, karaage, prawn & lobster roll, gyu udon. Okonomiyaki was a let down.
High tech ordering system, efficient. The store is quite big, comfort sitting, pretty comfort space between each table. The food is quite amazing, they are Japanese style obviously, yet well done as in Izakaya type. There are lots of choices that you would found in decent Japanese Izakayas (those located in Japan, not Australia). Food are served delicate, real tasty, each bite is a enjoy. Although not the best place for Japanese food, its still a place I would visit often.

They served typical Japanese food. One need to order your food and drinks on a tablet at your table. The only drawback of this was one is not able ask questions regarding the menu. Once the order was placed the food were served in random order ie if you prefer the sashimi to be served as entree there was no assurance that would happen. The tempura prawns and sashimi were standouts during our visit, we had a few crumbed meats which had sauce on them. These crumbed meats were a little oily. These were served with faintly shaved cabbage which was swimming in dressing. The bbq chicken was also served with salad swimming in dressing. These dressing made the salads soggy which were not pleasant. The premises has convenient parking spots in front of the restaurant. Service were not exceptional. In all, a casual dining venue good families and those wanted a quick Japanese-inspired food.
Good service but food quality is so – so.
We ordered the okonomiyaki and takoyaki as sides in addition to our mains, pork bone broth ramen.
Octopus balls were a bit tiny. Okonomiyaki could definitely be a little bit bigger, though it was nice and fluffy 🙂 The ramen broth was okay but not as good as other Japanese restaurants.
