It was a awful experience.. Staff very very rude and moody.. Made to move from table to table.. The food was awful to the point the toast was so stale and hard it could not be cut with the knife… We been here several times before but never again

What a weird experience! Dinner for two on a Friday night. We had duck pate and a trio of dips to start followed by twice cooked duck and fat chips with aoli for me. Food was okay – on the negative side duck pate slightly sweetened, rocket wilted, duck tough, aeoli uninteresting and trio nothing special. On the positive it was presented well, duck was on a bed of something yummy, fat chips nice and Sapporo on tap. Service prompt but haphazard – we were served by at least 3 people who were weirdly utilitarian in their approach. Ambiance was also weird – decor a strange combination of Italian and Moroccan, strange beer garden with a sad looking man singing cover songs. $100 for two.

This place was hugely disappointing and I won’t return Service was terrible. Food which was served for a wedding anniversary lunch Had
to be sent back The fish wasn’t good at all, my local fish and chip shop did better The replacement dish was still appalling Overcooked and thin and just awful My husband pizza was just as bad We complain to the Manager too no avail Very expensive poor standard food Never again

Waited longer then an hour just for breakfast, room was packed but no way near enough staff on hand, paying overpriced breeky for slow ass service, food was average.

Have been here a few times (lunch and dinner) not overly pleased with either lunch and dinner… Lovely atmosphere and service was good though. Great coffee, I must try the breakfast next time.

    Soooo much wasted potential here!

Such a great venue, fantastic location and building, HOWEVER the menu is dated and staff need some training.

Food is stodgy and there is a lack of options for those who need gf options (gf pizzas claim to be GF, and you are charged an extra $5, but then they go on the same tray with flour in the oven so totally contaminated)- I’m not even sure the owner and staff know what GF means? I recommend looking on the Coeliac Australia website.

This could be a really cool place for locals to enjoy but unfortunately it’s resisted having a really simple and tasty menu with trained staff and customer service.

More effort required to turn this place into a local favourite which it could easily be… disappointing.
