Let me preface by saying I’m fussy. There’s always something wrong with the ambience, or the presentation wasn’t quite there, or the food wasn’t salty enough. I’ve been here three times now and they have never failed to impress me yet.

The coffee is the best yet I’ve had in the four months here. The dirty chai was the perfect ratio of spicy smooth chai and coffee- it was flawless. I would recommend the small (in a glass) if you like stronger flavours (eg I usually go double shot latte). The banana bread was cheap, and well presented with a generous helping of butter in a little ceramic bowl that complimented the fluffy bread wonderfully.

Returning again, this time I got breakfast- the Coddled eggs with avocado, fresh tomato, goats cheese and basil on olive bread. $13 for the most beautifully presented and delicious breakfast ever. I got two whole tomatoes and a whole avocado- they were very generous. Amazing.

Now onto the rest. The cafe is warm and inviting, with hues of cheery yellow, warm sunset and chocolate brown. There is gentle soft French music in the back ground, and the staff are French- a beautiful language to listen to the staff talk in! The music isn’t too loud either, which can detract for a lot of cafes when you have to yell over it. There are paintings and cards decorating the cafe too. It strikes the perfect balance between charming and homely without being tacky or kitsch.

Absolute pleasure to eat and be served here.

Friendly staff, fantastic food and a nice environment. You want to practice your French go ahead, they are actually French people. The coffee is a bit hit and miss with consentancy but not to bad.
