Went here for dinner with 2 children after a trip to movies, at Hoyts. So sad that somewhere like this lets down the movie experience especially when it is the only restaurant on offer.
Floor covered in food, dirty windows and decor, staff had poor service. The food was horrible I ordered from dirty menus, childrens pizza meals that had thin short crust pastry bases that were crumbly as over cooked pastry gets.
I ordered a medium pizza that was over cooked on top, but raw pastry in middle, over cooked on base, no flavour
Why in a restaurant that has Italian as its main fare makes pizza with pastry and not pizza dough.
I actually feel sick waiting for the food poisoning to kick in.

Cannot begin to explain the disgusting experience at Eccoqui. Three people both in front and behind us in the line to pay refused to pay as the food was inedible. Ours was gourmet and supposedly fresh. Lies. The frozen produce was repulsive. The dried herbs that posed as fresh basil didnt meet the cut. The chef abused the customer in front of us for complaining about her undercooked fish. We should not have paid for our food poisoning meal. Never will I eat here again, and I can only hope no one else does so this restaurant is removed from the bayside community. No place for this restaurant anywhere. No one deserves to be served that slop and pay a high price for it. Shame on you Eccoqui, youll be making Italians all over the world embarrassed.

Well it 9:30pm on a Tuesday school holiday night and you turned us away! WTF
You close at 10pm (stated on this website) you still have tables with customers. We said we were only having a coffee? Totally shit never going back. Pathetic service

Been about 3 times and is just as good every time. Doesn’t get really busy, wide selection on the menu. Delicious food. Have cheap lunch specials and also has a choice for all you can eat platters. Nice staff.

Very hit and miss here! I love the sweet potato fries with the creamy garlic sauce, its such a tasty snack. However my sister and I came for pasta and both had very sore tummies the next day!
Coffee could also use a bit of work considering they use such a good brand (dimattina) its definitely not up to standard!
    Service here is always excellent!

Do yourself a favour and go elsewhere. The food here is revolting, we came on a Parma night and ordered two parmas that were inedible. A friend ordered a salad which she noted was bland and basically all lettuce. There are many great restaurants in Frankston, but eccoqui is not one of them.

I love my Italian food and I found Ecco Qui is a place where they get there pasta right! Sauce is always full of flavour! Servings are sizes generous!
