  ! AVOID ! The reviews say it all. Had an absolutely revolting experience at Eccoqui. Firstly poor customer service from an arrogant wait staff that clearly needs a reality check. The food was completely atrocious a gourmet pizza that was a piece of pita bread covered in oil & cheese that was inedible, a stone cold chicken parma with some melted cheese on top, cold veggies that looked like they were cooked the day before. Couldn’t eat our meals and regretted deciding to treat ourselves to a night out to be completely let down to be treated like and served garbage.

  Do not waste your time or money going to this place, avoid it as there are far better alternatives in the area, shame on the owners for caring so little about their business and treated your paying customers the way you do.

  Horrific! I didnt think it was possible to stuff up a side of vegetables but they definitely did. I ordered the side of ‘Seasonal Vegetables, fresh and lightly cooked in garlic butter’. Well they were frozen veggies, boiled and missed the garlic butter. I honestly could not eat them nor wash the taste down with water as the water was extremely chlorinated (tasted that way anyway!). Never ever again.

  Extremely poor customer service (virtually inexistent) and sub-standard food. I would not waste my time or money going to this place.

  We have just finished watching a movie on a Wednesday and thought to get a bite to eat. It was 8.40pm (the restaurant closes at 9.30pm) , we walked into the restaurant and asked for a table for 4.
  There was no usher or offer of choice where to sit. The employees spoke to us from behind the counter and left us to our own devices.
  We had to find a table, which was dirty however, probably the cleanest from all the tables that had been sat at and not cleaned.
  Not one waiter came to our table and we had to go find a menu so we could order some food.
  We finally managed to flag one down, we order two gourmet pizzas to share. The waiter had to come back to our table again just to confirm he had the order correctly. We explained and showed him the two gourmet pizzas on the menu.
  What came from the kitchen was definitely NOT what we ordered.
  First of all, both pizzas looked exactly the same – thin, burnt crust, no tomato base and oil cheese on top.
  So much for the fresh basil, roma tomato, bocconcini, prosciutto, pear etc. It was basically flour base with oily cheese on top.
  We refused to eat what they had brought out and the guy at the register had the audacity to say well there is not basil, tomato or bocconcini! REALLY?!!! Well, why didnt the chef/waiter say so when we ordered and we would have chosen a different dish or gone elsewhere.
  Dont serve me slop, expect me to eat and pay for it!? DEFINITELY NOT!!!!!
  Such a shame Eccoqui, the restaurant is in a prime spot however you building quite the reputation! And believe me, its NOT a good one :/
