Lovely food indeed, although slightly overpriced. Good and quick service. Relatively nice decor, but really dark.My suggestions to the owners: 1) When a customer walks in on a hot day, start your air conditioner and some lights, so that one can see the menu.2) Lower your mains and Chef’s special prices by$ 2-3 without lowering the size or quality and you will definitely have more custom. You are unfolrtunately not located in acentral urban area and it is not easy to reach you if you are not a local person.3) Advertise a little more with you lowered prices. All the best. I will return.
Awesome food, lovely flavour and awesome staff. The calamari is for the gods! With awesome taste and a lovely texture. Pretty quick too, however it can get a little bit pricey.
Nice restaurant but lots a bit dingy. Service is pretty good. Not the best flavour in the food but still quite nice. Pretty quick food about 20 mins.
The best Chinese meal I have tasted since living in Chinatown as a child. The vegetables were cooked just right and not an soft mush that I have experienced at most restaurants I have been to. The crispness of the vegetables with tofu and garlic made a great main course for me.
The food is not cheap but it is worth the extra cost.
Ate here recently on a Tuesday night and was pleasantly surprised at the quality of our meal. Really enjoyable and good size portions. Decor nothing to write home about but good food at good prices!

My sister & I were looking for a Malay/Chinese restaurant to dine, first time at the Lucky Inn tonight. Very impressed with the food and service. Ordered banquet for two at $32.00 each – worth every cent. Sweetcorn & chicken soup, sesame prawn toast & mini spring roll and four main courses. Wow, did not get to have desert (banana fritter and ice cream) which was included in price as we were too full!!! Also loved the Chinese tea. Will definitely go back. Well done Lucky Inn.
A brilliant chinese restaurant. Staff were extremely friendly. Food was awesome. Would definitely seriously recommend. Best Chinese in Melbourne
