Hi i am ps yesterday i was with my friends in tandoori daawat indian restaurant very good food & god service i am satisfied and i come back again thanks for all staff
My daughter & I attended here for a dinner with Groupon voucher. Two entrees, two mains, two desserts & glass of wine & soft drink for $39. The waitress was very accommodating and prompt with service. We enjoyed our evening for the value. People do hve to think of the cost for a full evening – including drinks. Would recommend, for price paid … 🙂
Never again with Groupon voucher.
Misleading Groupon ad; You have no selection but take what they offer(butter chicken, beef rogan & mix veg). Food was average.
Felt like 2nd class citizens with voucher.
The entry meal was made out of tandoori chicken, vegetables such as onions and lettuce, with some chutney on the side. That I found was quite good and the chutney was made well.
The actual dinner was made out of 1 serve of butter chicken, 1 serve of lamb Roman Josh & 1 serve of vegetable curry. The vegetable curry tasted flat and dry. There wasn’t enough spice or favour added in, just felt like they steamed the vegetable to soften, added just a hint of spice as they quickly fry it.
the sauces of both the lamb Roman Josh and the butter chicken tasted watery, as if the sauces were watered down, I think it was to save money by extending the use.
I also tasted something off in the lamb Roman Josh, like a hint of pasta sauce.
To top off our lazy Saturday we decided to order old fashioned home delivery Indian cuisine. We were not disappointed in Tandoor Dawaat.
Opting for Bajoo Alan (probable spelling mistake!) the meal was delivered steaming hot and fresh to our door. It’s always good when you order home delivery and expectations are met.
All of the meals arrived and the flavours we’re typically Indian, each meal combined a fantastic array of spices and combinations and blended perfectly with the soft and fresh rice.
Highly recommended if you’re on the hunt for takeaway in the Mordy area.
