This place has changed hands and the quality and cleanliness has dropped. So disappointed used to love coming here. Serving sizes smaller, smoothies don’t have any flavour and display fridge items don’t look fresh anymore.

Cutest cafe, delicious Breakfast Rice Salad. It’s a big meal and I’m full for ages. Comes with a fried egg and this really tasty pesto yum! Staff are sweet and friendly. I’d love to see some other non toasty type options as well and I’m totally coming back to try one of the smoothies!

I visited A Spot For Joe this morning to grab a coffee. My partner had assured me it was great coffee so I was keen to try. I usually drink an almond milk latte but the waitress noted that almond milk doesn’t go well with their coffee but they do serve coconut milk. I trusted I’m the waitress and was not disappointed. Coffee was one of the beat I’ve had! Will certainly be back!

My soy flat white was mildly bitter, but I appreciated the soy coffee art.

Avocado on toast was well-constructed, but nothing special flavour wise. The toast was tasty and not too crunchy. On top, there was a ripe mountain of avocado speckled with the perfect amounts of tomato and feta. The chilli salt mixture and lime on the side were nice complements to the dish.

Great coffee, milk textured perfectly & nice flavour. Had the waffles, they looked pretty on the plate but were nowhere near fresh, sickly sweet with nothing to balance it out. Decor is nice but this place is not set up for kids, no high chairs etc.

Not too bad. Had a pumpkin feta sandwich. Can’t say I had bad service but I can see what people are talking about. Vibe isn’t great. On a busy day it’s a bit annoying as trucks zooming past but in the quiet time it would be good.

Best coffee around Geelong. Title says all 🙂 I’d also recommend the red velvet cupcakes here
