After a long and warm day at Avalon airshow, after a simple, hearty and fast meal. Barzar came to town. We ordered the tried and tested spaghetti bolognaise with garlic bread. Generous portions and the bolognaise tasty and not mushy! I’d have preferred a non-bottled lemon, lime and bitters, so slight disappointment. That being said, friendly and chatty service, fast delivery and at $56 for the two of us, quite good value.
Excellent. By far the best food and service I have experienced in Geelong. The food is amazing and well priced, great coffee and the staff are very welcoming and friendly. I will definitely come back.

Great service, food and family friendly. We took our extended family (total of 9) for Sunday lunch to Barzar Geelong based on the good reviews and we were not disappointed. Very friendly staff and excellent food at affordable prices. We ordered 5 pizzas from the pizza menu and can highly recommend the Pumpkin pizza and Peri Peri chicken – delicious. Equally impressive was the family friendly atmosphere with younger children well catered for including games to play – makes a visit to a restuarant much more relaxing for parents! Would recommend you give Barzar at try next time eating out at Geelong.
Fresh ingredients. Pumpkin pizza was divine and excellent coffee. Lived up to the family friendly claim too.
Bad! Very very very very very bad liqueur pancakes – flat, floury and tasteless. Don’t waste your money!
