This was a lovely cafe. The atmosphere was great, clean and music was just right and Staff wee were friendly.Food was interesting and really tasted great. The only thing I would say is that they are not flexible on serving size with no small options or sides which is difficult for people who can’t eat large servings. I hate waste makes no sense.
A couple of friends and I met here for brunch during the week. The staff didn’t acknowledge us until we ordered at the counter. We waited nearly an hour and coffees and meals hadn’t appeared so we had to ask staff about this. There were only 2 other tables with a couple at each!! The staff did apologise for late coffee and did offer another free coffee. The bacon and eggs were tasty and cabinet choice of food looked very good!
If you want to be served poorly head there
Never ever make the effort with customers and I have given them a couple of chances
They need to get a reality check and head over to kilgour grocer and see how they treat their customers
The worst Coffee I have paid for in a long time.
I waited at the counter to order while a Women was counting money in the till at 12.15pm. No acknowledgment what so ever by her or any other staff passing by for a few minutes.I eventually ordered a small take away long black.
I couldn’t begin to drink it for 15 minutes because it was so boiling hot and when I began to sip it I could hardly taste any coffee. It was so weak. Just boiling water.
A waste of my time and my money. Never ever again Black Cup Cafe. Ever.
Loved my Egg Florentine, (this is my fav dish I order a most cafe’s for brunch) tick it off as one of the best. Coffee very strong and slightly bitter, so had two. I’ve also eaten here for lunch, their salads of the day are amazing. I had the one with lots of sprouts, so yummy and healthy. No rudeness during my visits, every single staff member greeted me with a hello. Will be back
Went for lunch, looked great, service was a bit off, the lady with short hair was snappy and not nice and we waited our whole lunch break for food. Then the food came out and they kept walking around trying to find us after we asked on the 40 minute mark. I hadn’t been there before, I don’t think I would go back.
Best coffee in Geelong – if you like a nice strong flavour.
Delicious food as well though it’s overpriced.
