So I got dragged here last night by my friends for a coworker’s gig. My female friend ordered then I was supposed to be next, the bar tenders literally ignored me. My other male friend shows up whilst I was still waiting, he got served and the same bartender has the audacity to go asking this other person even with multiple attempts from a friend requesting that she serves me. Yes You may not understand why a black woman shows up at a clearly white space, but you still need to do your job and serve customers accordingly. I don’t normally throw shade but it’s a shame that somehow my skin colour still matters even getting simple service. And no please don’t tell me it’s not because I was clearly black. I’ll never be back.
