My new go to burger place…the subtle flamed grill taste, awesome big Bruce burger with double patties was right up my alley. Not one to usually like chicken burgers but the brass coq burger was a beautiful mix of flavours with a hint of chillie. My mouths watering just thinking about burger Johnny !!!!!
Today my boyfriend and I visited, I really loved the atmosphere, design and music was pretty fantastic, I ordered the Veggo burger, I changed some ingredients and they were more than happy to oblige which was lovely, I enjoyed the burger however for me there wasn’t enough sauce (I love my sauce) and the chips were slightly overlooked, however I still really enjoyed my meal, my Boyfriend ordered ‘The Big Rigg’ which he thoroughly enjoyed. (We’d already eaten some chips in the photos)
Burger Johnny, probably one of the best burger joints in VIC by far. The food is large and great, the chefs are friendly, there aren’t any specials for the chefs to go down your throat on. Overall a really great place. I recommend this place to anyone that likes a big beefy burger. 11/10
Cool vibe, friendly staff, quality ingredients…… but the Burgers didn’t work for me.
Johhny’s Guys and Gals treat their Burger patty’s with love, but the Burgers flail when it comes to ratios and construction. Way too much Meat, not nearly enough sauces and poor choice of cheese. The Burger is clean and kinda fresh, but that’s not why I order a $15 burger.
Great assortment of burgers to satisfy any tastebud. Quality meal, flavoursome. Best place for your burger fix in Geelong by far! Well done guys!
Juciy Johnny!
Johnny’s is a great addition to Geelong’s burgers. The Beef patty is super juicy, the bbq bacon has a great slightly burnt flare and bun soaks up the sauce perfectly! This is a burger you eat whilst thinking about when your next available to come back for another! And for me that will be next week…and maybe the week after! And an extra tip is to try the perfectly picked homemade pickles!

Tried this new burger joint last night and was not disappointed in the slightest! I had the Johnny Burger with bacon with a side of chips. The meat patty itself was moist & full of flavour, great construction so that it didn’t fall apart whilst eating and the seasoning on the chips is delicious! Super filling and reasonably priced compared with other gourmet burger places. If only I had tried one of their milkshakes… Oh well, gives me a good excuse to go back!!!
