Tried the chicken ramen as I was hungry during dinner time. Noodles had no spring in it and were slightly soft. Flavour was lacking something. Decor and ambience could be improved
Went there towards close of business and ordered the chicken teriyaki bento & salmon sushi. The sushi wasn’t the best I’ve had but the bento was quite nice. Would return for a quick takeaway meal.
Quite disappointed. The staff and service was fine. But the sushi was a real let down. Our hand rolls would either fall apart in our hands or were quite stale
We have dined here may times when we have been in Geelong. The staff have been helpful and food is so yummy!!! We alway buy the sushi and sashimi platter and the fish is perfect!
I blindly gave this store a go as I’ve tried nearly every Jap store within quite a distance. [Customer Service] However, I’m not likely to visit again as the woman (probably lady boss) at the counter was rude, impatient, as she would put on a fake smile and greet non-Asian customers, but doesn’t bother to put on a show with Asians. Her smile is also more of a flat line as it seems like she’s generally unhappy and frowning. She didn’t seem to treat the staff in a pleasant manner either. The other staff seemed pleasant though. [Food] The sashimi was quite fresh and nice, the steak teriyaki bento was okay, but the counter hand rolls are bad! The price should have been cheaper, but I was willing to give it a go. However as mentioned before, I’m unlikely to come here again as seeing and having to deal with such a woman again, who could wreak your evening out, isn’t worth any of our money.
The food is okay but the service is extremely disappointing. The rude lady owner is really terrible in services. All she care is your money and never bother to smile or greet you sincerely. She usually gets really annoyed if you take too long at the counter or if you did not hear what she said and need her to repeat. Ruined my entire mood dealing with this rude lady.
There was one time I ordered beef ramen from her and ended up getting a chicken ramen, I don’t mind to have chicken instead of beef but there was a confusion when they sent me the ramen. I told them i ordered beef ramen but she got annoyed and angry. She insisted that I ordered chicken ramen and reply me rudely. C’mon I didn’t ask her to replace me or anything. That’s not the way to treat customers! What a shame. Just because you have lots of other customers and money doesnt mean you can shout at your ‘customer’ (obviously she did not treat me as one). Watch out people if you’re going there, you better not make any noise that would enrage her.
Came for lunch today, my friend ordered two beef ramen to dine in. It’s very clear and I can hear that he ordered beef ramen to lady boss, and she told him about 10 min. But, food came after 20 min. That’s not an issue because I’m happy to wait. When the food came it was chicken ramen. We tried to tell the server that we ordered beef ramen instead of chicken ramen. The lady boss just behind us and she use a very low manner to tell us we’d ordered chicken. When my friend tried to explain, we are not even have chance to talk, she just told us she is right, chicken. Then she gone after that. Rude service, not even let their customer talk.
