Very disappointing. Took a Melbourne friend to lunch, I’d suggested it was worth the drive down here. It wasn’t. The main chicken dish, chicken on barley with broad beans was exactly that. Bland. Talentless. Tasteless. My 85 year old mother in law could have produced this but would never have served it to a guest, or family for that matter. No bread provided. Salt and pepper had to be requested and was absolutely necessary to add some taste to the chicken dish. Expensive, we wouldn’t have minded if the food had been worth it, embarrassing because it most definitely wasn’t.

We ordered their seafood platter, escargot and pork, the seafood platter was delicious, lobster was fresh and the dressing was not over powering, prawn and crab were fresh, good texture and sweet, and the oysters was okay but sadly i think its just not worth the price considering the amount. Escargot was good, the garlic butter was perfect but its just not enough saltines, and the pork dishes was just okay.
Overall we are happy with our lunch, but couldve been better considering the price.
