Served great food! Cool place that is nice and cosy. Fun ordering when sharing marking of the list of things you want. Great outdoors area shared with the two places next door

Awful service. Took 80mins to get us our entrees and one wasn’t even the right dish. Then we got our mains and they completely forgot one dish so we ended up with 4/5 mains. This was all after they ran out of what we ordered and had to pick something else.
We got water at the start of the night and never got another jug so we were left thirsty all night. Service for beers was almost as slow as the food.
I ended up paying almost $20 for just honey chicken and lettuce plus extra for rice.
Just generally poor waiting at the tables too by very under dressed staff.

We decided to try this place out for brunch. It was quiet so service was efficient. We ordered the MAD tasting plate and some dumplings. All was nice, except I didn’t really like the Thai sausage. My favourite though wasn’t the food, it was the mango soju cocktail, lol. That was good.

We really wanted to try the crepe cake, however, we were advised it wasn’t set yet as we were there a little too early. So, that was disappointing.

Unfortunately I am changing my review from 4 to 2 now. I was there again yesterday and we waited almost 30 mins for my coffee which ended up being the wrong coffee, then to make it worse the guy served the coffee with the food approx 15 mins later?! most of the food was almost an hour late and some took even longer and the frozen defrosted prawns had no flavour. I had a visitor from interstate who was excited to try out a new place in VIC but the whole experience was nothing but -ve.

Staff are friendly but service is quite slow. Chicken satay was yummy as was the Malaysian crumbed prawns and the braised pork belly was also quite nice. Happy overall but not really a standout in geelong

Fabulous dinner for the family. Started with the tasting plate which was plentiful and delicious. The sesame sauce to dip the taro chips in was reason enough to go back.

Had 3 of the Mad Signature crush premium smoothies. Peach was nice if a touch bland, pineapple good but I thoroughly enjoyed the Honey Citron with its great combination of tartness and sweetness. The toasted marshmallows were deeeeeelicious.

3 mains were shared between 2 adults and 2 kids. The ham hock was enormous and very tasty. Slow cooked for a long time it fell apart. If you love the gelatinous skin you would be in heaven. Not our cup of tea but the meat was very tasty and the sauce very nice. This dish had my only genuine fault in that it was not fully reheated right through.

Black pepper chicken was excellent. Extremely tasty and the kids devoured them.

But everything took a back seat to one dish…Singapore Chili Prawns. One of our favourite dishes in the world is Singapore Chili Crab in Clarke Quay Singapore. I didn’t have huge expectations for this dish and when it landed it was very large deep fried prawns on a bed of (frankly unnecessary) lettuce and covered in a bright red Chili sauce. Looked very nice but was absolute perfection. 10 huge king prawns fried in a delicious and light batter. The sauce was piled on and each mouthful was a perfect balance of flavour. The sauce was neither to mild nor too hot but had a genuine Chili flavour. A perfect dish that was also exceptional value.

Lovely staff and a nice if simple restaurant design. We have already planned our return trip. Well in fact the kids demanded to go back with the grandparents. Highly recommended.

    Enjoy

Happy and passionate staff. Great atmosphere (relaxed) with themed decor. Had two entree and one main. Golden Chicken dish was yummy. Will be back to try the mad crepe cake – looks divine. Recommend this place!!
