Mexican Republic has great ambience and lovely food. Their food is different and tasty. I had the pea and mint quesadilla and I really enjoyed its unique taste. The staff were nice and helpful but I feel like they could be more cheerful.

We ordered the corn chips with salsa and the salsa was way too watery. The amount of food you get for the price is also not great. Overall we had a great experience at Mexican Republic and would come back again. Victoria Atkinson

Came in around 6.30pm with a group of 10 during Tuesday night. Btw before I came in I gave them a call and they are friendly and they also have big table that can fit for 10 persons too. Ordered ground beef and pork burritos is really big but I think it need more seasoning for the filling but my friend’s marinated chicken burrito is tasted so much better. Overall the food and service are not too bad.

The food was pretty good, not much to choose from on the menu! The service was decent. The drinks were great! I love the atmosphere and the decorations! Plenty of seating!
I would highly recommend trying this place but i don’t think ill be going there again!

Picked up a vegetarian burrito bowl, I’m pretty disappointed. Bowl is half empty, there is no flavour or seasoning on any part of the dish. Mass amounts of cabbage that is dry and bland, and same with the quinoa. The Mexican chain stores (zambrero, mad mex) are doing this dish 100x better, such a shame and waste of money.

Yum!!! Staff were super friendly, knowledgeable and really helpful with suggestions and menu questions! Food was awesome, fresh, tasty and really well presented! Service was fast even though busy being a Saturday will definately visit again next time I’m in Geelong

Bright & Funky little restaurant, great service & the food was fresh & tasty. Nothing like Mexican as we know it, it’s better, as it’s not totally covered in melted cheese. There was so much to choose from, we all ordered something different. Our Churro’s were way over cooked but anything with chocolate & caramel always tastes good. Sorry points off for crispy crunchy Churros
