Accidentally pass this place after visiting the wool museum, and my partner saw the guy who was inside the counter was (used to be) owner of il dolce, our (fam & friends) long time favourite. Then we went in and tried the roche, but surprisingly the taste was different, il dolce one much better, and he said he was one of the creator of il dolce. End up my partner ordered the rhum& raisin, it was good but not that special i guess this potentially could be the best ice cream place in geelong but compared to il dolce, its still below average. Not purposely wanna compare but since we know the story, we thought that the taste at least will be similar.
Decor: Fresh & trendy. Love the stools!
Service: Pleasant & helpful service
Gelati: Really good! Servings are generous and there are a few surprises – Pavolva gelato looked innovative, but I went for the Crunchy Vanilla which did not disappoint! The Pistachio was what a good pistachio gelato should be – natural in colour and flavour.

Found this beautiful ice cream shop by chance on a trip down to Geelong this summer.
Absolutely no regrets from the moment I stepped through the door. The staff are so friendly, their ice cream is amazing and all homemade on premise!
Ferrero Rocher is an absolute must try. My favourite flavour by far!

Love this place. Awesome location by the beach and very excited to make it a regular stop off during the summer. Fun staff always making jokes and enjoying themselves (just they way an ice cream shop should be)
Im a huge sucker for quality fruit flavours and Miss Gina hasn’t let me down with strawberry(the best) lemon, Mango and passion fruit being my top picks.
I’ve just been told they do take home packs so I’m taking a trip down now for dessert later tonight!
Anyone with an understanding and appreciation of genuine Italian gelato will understand how lucky the City of Geelong is to have Miss Gina. The taste takes me back to my first trip to Italy with Pistachio being my favourite flavour. Owners are genuine and the minimalist interior is delightful. The family and I will now be regulars
We stumbled across this little ice cream shop on our way to the beach.
The staff were unbelievably helpful and kind and the ice cream was second to none.
It was that good we stopped back in on the way back to our car.
My recommendation is Toblerone 🙂
Can’t wait to go back.
