This place reminded me of those 70-80s chinese reataurant, red brick with tiny chinese sign on the wall, a bit gloomy with view of all round table with lazy susan. Not that i experience it, but i saw it on tv, and this is like experience it in real life, fun!
The food here are hit and miss, if u are a regular, then most probably ull know what is good, but for us, as this is our first time, i ordered a lot. So i know next time what to order.
Pigeon was good, the onion and bell peper compliments the flavour well, seafood in bird nest was good, scallop omellete was divine (we ordered it after reading from previous review here and yes, it wasnt in the menu but just mention it and they will cook it for u), fried rice and chicken corn soup was okay, blackbean was not as good as i expected and stir fry veg was basic.
Service was good, the new girl with blond long hair was a bit awkward but i guess coz shes still learning, nvm. Overall good experience and will go back for their scallop omellete and pigeon and will try other dishes.
Delicious Asian/Chinese food! Such an effective fast online booking service and lovely staff! I’m so excited to have found this place and will be sure to order lots of take away from here!
A friend & I lunched here today & I chose their Scallop Omelette at $18.50 (not normally served to eat-in diners) whilst he chose their Mongolian Beef at $21. I found my Omelette really yummy with a variety of contrasting flavours and a sufficient number of scallops for the price, my friend literally raved about his beef claiming it was the best he’d ever had. Both dishes were served steaming hot and within 20 minutes of ordering. The service provision is always good here, I’ve eaten here twice before over the past 3 years. The instrumental piano background music was pleasant & could be heard over easily. By around 12:15pm the restaurant was about 70% full of happy chatting customers.
The Juror’s Verdict: Food 4.5/5, Service Provision 4/5, Will I return: Yes, definitely
