I am a rep so travel all over the place and Rolld is my go to as I usually get 2x rice paper rolls and $5 upgrade to meal (which is always upsold to me) $12 is a pretty good deal so I get it every time. This store was the one place who tried to charge $16 because apparently the rolls dont count for the deal which I couldnt see in writing anywhere. Ive had this deal maybe 810x now. Anyway he was nice enough to give me a mall discount of $2… unfortunately the rice paper on the rolls was ROCK hard! I actually didnt even realise it was the rice paper at first as I had to tear it off as it couldnt be chewed. This tells me the rolls are very old. Gross
I have to say the Pho I had was the best I have ever had. With the tasty broth and the beautifully seasoned beef it was something I would easy pay $12.50 for. What really brings it down is the cleanliness and service. We got a guy to wipe our table, which was all good so he sprayed and wiped it down but he missed most of the cleaning spray. The food took a while to come but hey good things take time. It wasn’t the cleanest of places but the food was still really good.
I went here today and ordered one banh mi roll. It cost $9.50 and consisted of a very not fresh, crushed bread roll, a bit of chicken and hardly any veg filling.
Im not entirely sure why anyone would go here and get overpriced Vietnamese food when you can get the real thing from real Vietnamese people for half the price. Never going again
