Best kebabs ever. I’ve been a fan of kebabs and have eaten them in a number of places around the country and had them made by ethnically appropriate friends, and these beat them hands down! Get there early for lunch, it’s not just me that thinks so.
This cafe is packed out into the street at lunchtime for a good reason , the place serves the best fast food I’m town , quality fresh ingredients for the most amazing kebabs you will ever taste , yummiest crinkle cut chips cooked to perfection , even the simplest food like a toasted sandwich or a milkshake is awesome , the service is fast friendly and efficient , this place is a well oiled machine, have fined here at least 30 times and never had a complaint
This cafe looks like it’s straight out if the early 80’s – wood panelled walls, landscape paintings hung up, just a cafe that has stood the test of time. And why wouldn’t it, with kebabs as fresh and incredible as that. The service from the ladies is fantastic, it’s fast, it’s fresh and crisp and with the unbelievable amount of customers this place has, to get everything right everytime is a credit.
The place may look a little old and tired but service and food is fresh and fantastic. Had the Chicken Shish Kebab with hot chilli sauce and it was fantastic! Great quick service – will certainly be going back.

The BEST kebabs I’ve ever eaten!. The kebab/schawama was the best I’ve eaten (and I am very picky with my meat as I’m a not a big meat eater)
Meat was lean, pita bread was perfectly toasted (not floury) and the homemade salad (with a hint of tabbouleh?) was the icing on the cake. You can tell that this cafe is the real deal by all the elderly Middle Eastern men that are the customers – they know they’re stuff!
n.b. a schawama is like a Greek souvlaki but much lighter and nicer.
